CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

Hello everybody! In this blog I will give my opinion about my study program. In general, I like the curriculum that the University has, however I feel that subjects such as Diagnostics demand a lot of time, and in the exams many contents are evaluated, which prevents that all classes can be studied correctly and that there is a real learning process. For example, there is a unit called Physiology, where we are taught about all the functioning of the human body, which I think is good and helps us to better understand all the processes that occur, however, in practice and in subjects later, only a small part of everything taught is occupied. I think it would be better to deliver less material and focused on odontology, in order to study in a better way and not with an overload, and in this way the learning would be much better. TIME TRAVEL TO THE PAST OR TO THE FUTURE

Hello everybody! In this blog I will tell you if I prefer to travel to the past or the future. I am convinced that the phrase that says "all past times were better" is true (sometimes). I would like to travel to the 60's, but I would not like to be in Chile, but I would rather be in a country like USA, which at that time was in a time of splendor and development. I would not like to travel to the future, because I think that as time passes, each time we destroy ourselves more as a society and as a world. I would like to live in that period to experience all the social and technological revolutions of the 60's and enrich myself with American culture. I would like to attend those parties that you see in the movies, with a disco atmosphere where people went to have fun. Or maybe go to Las Vegas and visit those mythical casinos where the nights are eternal. MY FUTURE JOB

Hello everybody! In this blog I will talk about my future job. I am studying odontology, so my job will be a dentist. Once I graduate, I would like to be able to work for a few years and then doing a major in maxillofacial surgery or in legal and forensic dentistry ... I’m not 100% sure, because I like both areas too much and I think they would add a lot of energy to my work . On the one hand, maxillofacial surgery is a multidisciplinary specialty, which ranges from complex dental extractions, to jaw and face surgeries in general. On the other hand, forensic dentistry has a lot of criminology, which is a topic that interests me too much. One of my dreams is to specialize in another country, such as the Netherlands, USA or Canada. I’m planning to work indoor, since I have to work in a consultation, however I want it to be a dynamic work and not be static in one place. I’m hoping to travel to many cities and countries so that I can specialize and increase my knowledge about odontolog

ANIMALS AND PETS

Hello everybody! In this blog I will talk about Animals and Pets. Since I was little I have liked pets, I had many pets as a child, even very exotic ones such as tarantulas and ground hedgehogs. My love for animals was so great that when I was little I wanted to study veterinary medicine to be able to help them even more. Currently I only have a labrador puppy of approximately 1 year named Balto, he is very playful and sweet. I have a dog because I consider him to be man's best friend; They are very faithful, and they transmit a positive vibe when we feel discouraged or sad. However, I think that all animals should be respected and treated with love, for this reason I am against animal experimentation, even though I know that it is necessary for human beings to continue advancing. Animals suffer and live a terrible life inside laboratories. MY FAVORITE CARTOON

Hello everybody! In this new blog I will tell you which is my favorite cartoon. For me, the Simpsons are really perfect, I think it's a very complete comedy cartoon, and it reflects American society in the craziest way. I basically like it for its humor and for the chapters that are very funny and original, in their time they were a "boom". It is about the adventures of a family called "Simpsons", where they face surreal situations, developing a story that criticizes, from humor and satire, many attitudes and situations that occur in our society. I remember that I saw them from a very young age, they broadcast them on “Channel 13” at 6 pm, it was my inevitable panorama when I got home from school. Now I do not see them regularly, however I still love them, since they bring back many memories of my childhood, and, to this day, they are still my favorite cartoon. MY BEST CONCERT EXPERIENCE!

  Hello everybody! In this blog I will talk you about my very best concert experience... It was really a festival called Colors Night Lights Summer 2019, lived in the Velódromo del Estadio Nacional, in which festival I saw Gondwana (an outstanding Chilean reggae group), Wiz Khalifa (one of the most famous rappers in the world) and Sticky Fingers (an Australian rock / reggae band), which is one of my favorite bands. We went with a group of 4 friends, I remember what we enjoyed the most were Sticky Fingers, who had a great sound quality, just spectacular. The atmosphere was insane, the crowd was full of energy, everyone was singing the songs, I was really excited!, I had waited too long that day, and they also presented a new album, which is one of my favorites. Gondwana, even though I don't know much about them or reggae culture, the show was excelent, they played the instruments perfectly. A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT

 Hello everybody! This is my first blog, in which I will talk about the place I would like to visit one day. One of my dreams has been to travel the whole world (or at least a large part of it), however the country that I like the most and that attracts me is the Netherlands, especially Amsterdam. I have heard that it is a beautiful city, with a very advanced culture, as well as being a very safe city. I am too impressed that it is a very liberal place, in which prejudices remain in the past.  I also think the architecture very picturesque and full of history, for example, in this city is the house of Anne Frank. If I went there, I would visit the Zaanse Schans mills and also go all over Amsterdam by bicycle, since it is one of the places with the most kilometers of bike paths. I don´t rule out living here one day, since it seems to me a very developed city with many opportunities. Thanks for reading, see you on the next blog! :)
